Submitting Your Work
General Description — A four member jury panel comprised of artists and art professionals will select exhibitors based on the artistic quality of the work submitted. All media and artforms are accepted except work considered crafts or artisinal for possessing a strongly functional dimension.
Links to download the application and agreement forms are below. Mailed entries must contain all parts to be considered complete and must arrive at our offices by the deadline. Online submissions will be accepted through 8 p.m. on June 13th.
What To Submit
Artists are invited to submit up to 3 samples of their work in slide or digital format. We encourage artists to submit their work via our online application (see link below). There is a $15 application fee. If submitting online, images should be in JPEG format (.jpg) at 72ppi resolution (6" width or height max.). If submitting using our downloadable PDF application form, slides should be 35 mm, enclosed in a plastic slide sheet labeled with the artist's name and address and each slide should be clearly numbered and labeled with the artist's name, title, date, medium and dimensions of the work. A current resume should be included. A self-addressed stamped envelope for return of slides must accompany each entry if return is desired. Digital files may also be submitted on CD-R and must accompany a complete application packet.
Should you be invited and accept, the tent fee of $150 for the first weekend exhibition and $100 for a second weekend if available. A number of local business-sponsored Artist Patron Awards are available to provide some reduced tent fees. Awardees will be notified when provided date assignments. Providing your credit card on the application form is secure and will facilitate meeting the commitment deadline for your subsequent date assignment. We will contact you via email with your assigned dates and further information regarding preparations for the ArtShow.

You need to indicate three date preferences for the Amherst location AND three preferences for the Pittsfield location. We will notify you of date and location assignments. There will be some limited opportunity to adjust your availability should that change prior to receiving the notification. An e-mail address is required. Please use a friend's or family member's e-mail address if necessary.
