The ArtShow - Fine Art Street Galleries is a juried outdoor exhibition featuring a different set of 25-30 artists displaying a diverse array of visual art forms that are not crafts, from painting, print and photography to sculpture and digital/video art. Each artist is selected by a distinguished jury pool of art professionals with affiliations to the the Smith College Museum of Art, O.K. Harris Gallery (NYC), the Williams College Museum of Art, the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, and the University Gallery (UMass). The ArtShow Amherst is truly a unique exhibition, a cooperative between art and local business, where gallery artists rarely ever seen outdoors show their work in our signature tents, sprinkled about the sidewalks and located amidst our town's small businesses. Come view extraordinary art in two wonderful towns and enjoy interacting with fine visual artists in a relaxed environment.

 The Organizers

 The ArtShow Amherst is organized by a Steering Committee with cooperation from the Town of Amherst Planning Commission, Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce, Promote Downtown Amherst, University Gallery, UMass Office of University Outreach, and in Pittsfield: Artscape, Downtown Inc. and the Berkshire Art Association.
